38th Luncheon on Hotspot Development Issues Held in Beijing

The 38th Luncheon on Hotspot Development Issues, hosted by China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) and sponsored by China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse on December 1, 2016. The Luncheon was themed on “outlook on China-US relations and US economic policies”. Upon the invitation of CDRF, Dr. Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of State and Chairman of Kissinger Associates, and Dr. Zhu Min, former Vice President of the International Monetary Fund and Vice President of China International Finance Society, attended the event and delivered remarks.

Dr. Kissinger is a longstanding friend of China. In September, to everyone else’s delight, the 93-year-old accepted CDRF’s invitation to attend the luncheon.

CDRF Secretary General Lu Mai presided over the luncheon, which was also attended by more than 70 guests from state-level ministries and commissions, prestigious universities and large companies.
