China Development Research Foundation started a public donation for the “One Yuan Nutrition Package” program

On September 4th, 2017, China Development Research Foundation announced that it would continue to raise fund for the “One Yuan Nutrition Package” program during the “September 9th Tencent Charity day”. As a long-term partner of China Development Research Foundation, Bill& Melinda Gates Foundation would provide assistance to this program.

The chief representative of Bill& Melinda Gates Foundation of the Beijing office said “We hope that by advancing the “One yuan Nutrition Package” program, the nutrition conditions of children from the poverty-stricken areas can be greatly improved. We will continue to cooperate with our partners, including China Development Research Foundation, so that every child can have the chance of living a healthy and fruitful life.” Zhu Zonghan, director of the expert committee for Nutrition improvement program for infants in poverty areas, pointed out that “improving the nutrition conditions for infants in poverty-stricken areas is not only a mission for the government, but also a mission for the whole society.”
