Introduction

In 2009, CDRF started to sponsor the research program of Chinese Wellbeing Index by NPC Financial and Economic Commission. The program is directed by Madam Wu Xiaoling, Vice President of NPC Financial and Economic Commission. CDRF is responsible for data analysis, report writing as well as program management. Over the past years, this research program has compiled wellbeing indexes for 12 cities, conducted general surveys in 24 cities and subjective index surveys in 31 provinces or cities, and tried to develop China’s national wellbeing index. Its research results are highly valued by central leaders.
