Symposium on China's Reform of the Medicine and Medical and Health Care Systems and Project Launching Conference
From July 29 to 30, 2013, CDRF held the symposium on China’s Reform of the Medicine and Medical and Health Care Systems and Project Launching Conference, presided over by CDRF Vice Secretary General Zhao Shukai. CDRF Secretary General Lu Mai and Vice Secretary General Fang Jin attended the meeting.
Over 20 experts from the U.S., the U.K., Australia, domestic governmental departments and research institutes held in-depth discussions on problems in China’s medicine and medical and health care systems, the focus and difficulties in the reform and the international experience in relevant areas, which centered around six special subjects: the outlook on future population health, the establishment of a healthy social service system, the sustainability of medical funding system, the improvement of capacity for medical service supply, the innovative research in medical industry, and environmental pollution and health risks. CDRF will conduct a systematic study on how to promote the reform of Chinese medicine and medical and healthcare system in the following two years.
