Guangzhou Government Performance-based Budgeting Improvement Program co-sponsored by the CDRF and the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, took place on September 19-23, 2016. A total of 26 officials from the main business offices of the Bureau of Finance of Guangzhou Municipality, and seven officials from the Municipal People's Congress, the Municipal Government, the Municipal Audit Bureau, the Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Municipal Disabled Persons Federation and the Bureau of Finance of Panyu District and the Bureau of Finance of the Economic Development Zone participated in the program.

        Lu Xun, secretary-general of the CDRF, Chen Xiongqiao, director of the Bureau of Finance of Guangzhou Municipality, Xue Lan, dean of the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Chen Guotang, deputy Party secretary and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the CDRF, attended the opening ceremony.
