Chinese Urban Water Efficiency Management Program Officially Launched

CDRF officially initiates the Program of Chinese Urban Water Efficiency Management on June 26, 2013. This program centers on improving water efficiency in the context of rapid urbanization and studies how to improve the efficiency of water supply and use, as well as macro- and micro-efficiency of water utilization, through optimizing  macro-allocation of water resources, reform of integrated water management system, urban water planning, performance management of water use, leakage management of water delivery, demand-side management, sewage treatment and reused of recycled water, so as to break the constraint of water resource for urbanization and promote sustainable economic and social development. Mr. Lu Mai, CDRF Secretary General, and Mr. Fang Jin, CDRF Deputy Secretary General, attend the meeting. The research team has a thorough discussion of research content.
