CDRF and PWC Co-publish "Choose China: Multinationals'New Views on Improving Investment Environment in China"

On March 20, China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) co-published a report titled Choose China: Multinationals' New Views on Improving Investment Environment in China. Entrusted by CDRF, PWC carried out a global survey among multinationals to understand their opinions on the investment opportunities in China and what they expect Chinese government to do in improving the environment for foreign investment. Aimed to enhance the mutual understanding and communication between multinationals and Chinese government, the survey finds out that investors around the world believe China’s competitiveness lies in increasing domestic market demands, an environment of fair competition, quality technical talents, incentive measures of the government, cheap labor cost and preferential tax policies which help attract foreign investments. China remains as the first choice for investment destinations on the globe.

According to Secretary-general Lu Mai, "the Report not only shows the positive prospect of multinationals on investment in China, but also accurately captures the shift of development mode in and the huge opportunities to be brought by the deepening reform."
