The opening ceremony of the Seminar on Public Policy and Information Disclosure 2016 took place smoothly
In order to put into practice the important instructions of the leaders of the State Council and to further improve the ability of leaders to disclose information, interpret policy, guide public opinion and build up a good international image, the CDRF held the Seminar on Public Policy and Information Disclosure 2016 (Communication Seminar 2016) in Beijing on June 19. More than 50 participants, including cadres from ministries of the central government and executives of enterprises controlled by central and provincial governments (including governments of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and special administrative regions) and media units owned by the central government, participated in the seminar.
This seminar was held by the CDRF in partnership with USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism which is a world-renown institute of higher learning in the field of communication and journalism. It was established in 1971 through the support of Walter H. Annenberg, owner of diverse media outlets. It has multiple research centers and has demonstrated great strength in research. With well-known scholars and professors specializing in communication and journalism, it is one of the world's best schools for communication and journalism.
