At the invitation of the Centre for Liveable Cities affiliated to the Ministry of National Development of Singapore, Fang Jin, deputy secretary-general of the CDRF, attended the World Cities Summit in Singapore, and delivered a speech at the “Cities For The People - Innovation for Sustainable Communities” plenary session on July 12.

In his speech, Fang Jin said that the future of a city is difficult to predict because many of the complex factors that affect urban development and the results of their interaction have not been thoroughly studied, but it is suffice to say that the future of every city, whatever it will look like, will be driven by innovation in both public and private sectors.
