The CDRF-PhRMA Symposium on China’s Healthcare System Reform in the Coming Decades & Mid-term Report Meeting was held

The CDRF-PhRMA Symposium on China’s Healthcare System Reform in the Coming Decade & Mid-term Report Meeting was held from February 25 to 27. Nearly 40 Chinese and foreign experts in related fields attended the symposium and exchanged views on the following six issues: outlook of the health sector, health promotion system, health financing, supply of healthcare services, pharmaceutical innovation and environmental health risk. The symposium was presided over by Deputy Secretary-General Fang Jin.

        The policy research project of the CDRF on China’s healthcare system reform was launched in early 2013. The goal is to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study of specific problems encountered in medical reform in China within two years and to offer specific policy suggestions for future medical reform on this basis.
