Mengniu Dairy CEO Lu Minfang Visits CDRF

On the afternoon of December 12, 2016, a six-member delegation of China Mengniu Dairy headed by CEO Lu Minfang visited China Development Research Foundation (CDRF). The two sides introduced their respective work and discussed cooperation opportunities.

Mr. Lu Minfang introduced the company’s progress in the provision of dairy products for students and nutritional supplements for infants in recent years. CDRF Secretary General Lu Mai introduced early child development projects conducted by the Foundation, with a focus on the implementation of and evaluation on the nutrition improvement project for students in compulsory education and the nutrition package project initiated by the Ministry of Education and the National Health and Family Planning Commission respectively. He pointed out that the two sides share common goals and are both dedicated to improving child nutrition and health though different in specific ways they adopted. He also hoped that both sides can make efforts to pinpoint areas of cooperation. Zhao Chen and Shi Lijia from CDRF Center for Child Development, along with Li Fan and Hao Zhirong from CDRF Training and Public Relations Department, also attended the meeting.
