The Fifth Meeting of the Fourth Board is Held

The Fifth Meeting of the Fourth Board of CDRF was held at the CDRF on March 29, 2019.

The meeting reviewed and approved the 2018 annual work report and the 2018 annual financial report of the CDRF delivered by Lu Mai, studied and discussed several important issues concerning the development of the CDRF in the near future, and adopted the resolution of dismissing Xiao Qingwen from his post of Deputy Secretary General of the CDRF.

According to the meeting, over the past year, the CDRF satisfactorily fulfilled the tasks assigned by the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) with solid efforts, and remarkable results, under guidance of the DRC and the leadership of the Fourth Council of the CDRF. New breakthroughs have been made in many respects of the CDRF, and its policy and social impact enhanced.

The Council hopes that at a new historical starting point, CDRF will forge ahead and be ready to take on responsibilities under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Meanwhile, they should bring their advantages into full play and focus on key issues by centering on the major issues and policies concerning China's reform and opening up, step up investigation and research, to serve the mandate of the CDRF, and raise its undertakings to a higher level.
