doTERRA Funds the "One Village One Preschool: VEEC Program"

On April 8, 2019, doTERRA and CDRF entered into a donation agreement concerning the donation of RMB3 million to the "One Village One Preschool: VEEC Program" would be completed in three years. The donation ceremony was held in the No. 1 Conference Room of the CDRF. Fang Jin, Deputy Secretary General of the CDRF, and Owen Messick, President of doTERRA China, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. The two parties executed a three-year cooperation agreement specifying that doTERRA would fund the construction and maintenance of approximately 30 One Village One Preschools in Funing County.

This cooperation is founded on the consensus of the two parties on the cause of poverty alleviation and child development. It is hoped that children in poor areas can have access to quality preschool education through the "One Village One Preschool" program, in a concerted effort to prevent intergenerational transmission of poverty.
