Lu Mai Participates in the Assessment Report Review Meeting of the School Nutrition Improvement Initiative Data Platform

In order to objectively assess the effectiveness of the School Nutrition Improvement Initiative Data Platform in supervising the "Nutrition Improvement Plan for Rural Compulsory Education Students", the CDRF entrusted the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences (CAFS) to evaluate the platform. The research team of the CAFS finished the assessment report at the end of April.


On May 7, 2019, Lu Mai, Vice President and Secretary General of the CDRF, participated in the Assessment Report Review Meeting of the School Nutrition Improvement Initiative Data Platform at the CAFS. The members of the expert team participating in the report review meeting included: Lu Xin, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and President of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education (CSTVE), Liu Shangxi, the Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the CAFS, Du Yuhong, the head of the Institute of Education Economics, the Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, Chang Xinghua, Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Development, the Academy of Macroeconomic Research, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and Zhang Nanxing, a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Science Education, the Ministry of Education.


Lu Xin, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, the leader of the expert team, expressed her view on the assessment topic and proposed six suggestions on the assessment report. She emphasized that this assessment should be combined with national development strategies. Other members of the expert team recognized the assessment report and gave suggestions. Lastly, President Liu Shangxi and Secretary General Lu Mai summarized the review meeting. President Liu pointed out that this assessment was designated to promote policy optimization and achieve national strategic objectives.
