Lu Mai Meets with J&J Senior Vice President Calvin Schmidt

On the morning of May 22, 2019, Lu Mai, Vice President and Secretary General of the CDRF, met with a delegation from Johnson & Johnson (J&J) led by Mr. Calvin Schmidt, Senior Vice President and Worldwide Leader of Government Affairs & Policy.

Mr. Calvin Schmidt introduced Johnson & Johnson's business in China and extended his intention to deeply cooperate with the CDRF. Secretary General Lu Mai briefed about the policy research and experimentation of the CDRF. Both parties deeply exchanged views on the China Development Forum (CDF), the formulation of standards for medical devices, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in health, and data protection.
