Expert Consultation Session on Comprehensive Budget Performance Management Manual Is Held

In September 2018, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the Opinions on the Comprehensive Implementation of Budget Performance Management, marking the formation of its top-level design.

In order to raise the awareness of budget performance management and help implement the budget performance management reform in an all-round way, the CDRF engaged the School of Finance and Taxation and the Budget Performance Management Research Center of Central University of Finance and Economics to prepare a Manual for Comprehensive Budget Performance Management.

On the morning of August 6, 2019, an expert consultation session on the Manual on Comprehensive Budget Performance Management was held. Experts have put forward operational suggestions on amendments.

Lv Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and a member of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of NPC; Zheng Yong, Director of the Performance Management Division of the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance; Zhi Rongqing, Deputy Director of the Budget Performance Division of the Hebei Provincial Finance Department; Wang Dehua, Director of the General Office of Financial Auditing Research of National Academy of Economic Strategy, CASS; Wang Zecai, Director of the Government Performance Research Center of the China Academy of Fiscal Sciences, and other experts attended this consultation meeting. The session was chaired by Yu Jiantuo, Assistant Secretary General of the CDRF. Fang Jin, Secretary General of the CDRF; Liu Xiaojie, Director of the Finance Dept; Du Jing, Director of the Research Dept 3; Zhu Meili, Project Director of the Research Dept 3, and Yang Mo, Project Director of the Research Dept 3 attended the session.
