The 5th Training Program for Students of "For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program" Concludes

From August 26-30, 2019, CDRF launched the 5th Training Program for Students of "For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program" ("For the Future") in Beijing. The program contents included innovative video making and all-round financial and economic lectures. 23 teachers led 46 students from 23 "For the Future" pilot schools in Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou and Hebei Provinces to the program.


From August 27-29, Deputy Researcher Zhang Jie and Assistant Researcher Wang Ningtong from the Communication and Education Researcher Center, Institute of Communication Studies, Communication University of China, and Lecturer Ding Yanyan from the Ethnic Cultural Communication and Development Center, gave lectures on creative thinking, script writing, video shooting, editing and post-production. The participating students grouped up to shoot and edit videos, and shared creation experiences, after which the experts made insightful remarks on the screened works.During the program, the participating teachers and programs visited the technology exhibition center of Microsoft to experience in-depth computer and AI technology that was cutting-edge. Wang Ling, Director of Public Welfare Affairs of Microsoft Greater China Region and Qian Feifei, General Manager of the Education Segment of Microsoft Greater China Region, introduced the public welfare projects of Microsoft and the trend of future employment along with technological reforms, respectively.


On the 30th, Wang Dong in charge of inclusive finance and education of Visa China Region, and Sun Ling, Associate Professor of Psychology of School of Sociology and Psychology of Central University of Finance and Economics, gave special lectures on "the Practice and Thinking of All-round Education of Finance and Economics" and "the Wealth and Happiness", respectively.



Deputy Researcher Zhang Jie from the Communication and Education Researcher Center, Institute of Communication Studies, Communication University of China, gave a lecture to participating teachers and students.



Qian Feifei, General Manager of the Education Segment of Microsoft Greater China Region, gave a lecture of “How Technology Reshapes Future Society and Employment".
