Li Wei Leads A Research Group to Visit Meishan to Research the Pilot Schools of "For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program"

On October 24, Li Wei, Chairman, Committee for Population, Resources and Environment, CPPCC, Chairman of the CDRF, and former President of the Development Research Center of the State Council led a research group to visit Meishan, Sichuan to conduct researches. The research group consists of nine people, including a members of Office of Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the CPPCC, Liu Renyong, Director of Population, Resources and Environment Committee of Sichuan Provincial CPPCC, Fang Jin, Secretary General of CDRF, Gao Guoqing, Director of General Office of CDRF and the program organizers of "For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program". Luo Jiaming, Deputy Secretary of Meishan Municipal Party Committee as well as Mayor of Meishan City, Wang Yingcong, Chairman of Meishan Municipal CPPCC and Yu Zisheng, Vice Chairman of Meishan Municipal CPPCC accompanied the research group.

In the morning, the research group visited Sichuan Dongpo Secondary Technical Vocational School, a trail school of "For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program", and listened to Principal Liu Zhiyong's report on the development of the school and the implementation of the Program. They also listened to courses of pre-school education, welding, fitter and cooking.
