“One Village One Preschool” Online Trainings Launched

As the COVID-19 epidemic continued, the start date of kindergartens was postponed. In order to ensure the professional development of the “One Village One Preschool” volunteer teachers during the epidemic, CDRF launched online trainings on the afternoon of March 23. More than 3,300 volunteer teachers and administrators of education bureaus from 26 counties covered by the program joined the training.


Secretary General Fang Jin extended sincere care and gratitude to the volunteer teachers prior to the training. Then, the first session was officially started and lecture was given by Vice Chairman Lu Mai, who explained how early child development could block the intergenerational transmission of poverty and introduced the practice, history and achievements of the “One Village One Preschool”.


After the lecture, Lu interacted online with several local education administrators and volunteer teachers.


Before the preschool resume operation, CDRF will organize online training on rural preschool education. we will continue to provide the volunteer teachers trainings in health care, mixed-age teaching, game activities and five fields of health, science, society, language and art, and integrate online trainings with offline guidance to support the teachers in their professional development and teaching practice.
