“For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program” Online Trainings for Professional Teachers Initiated

In order to support the work of the CDRF “For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program” pilot schools during the epidemic, promote professional development of their teachers, enrich the schools’ educational resources and explore in-depth school-enterprise cooperation modes, CDRF cooperated with Daimler Vocational Training China to provide the “German Modern Vocational Education Concepts and Application” online trainings for teachers of the automobile major in the pilot schools.

On the afternoon of April 14, the online opening ceremony was held, followed by the first session of training. 77 professional teachers from 13 “For the Future: Secondary Vocational Education Program” pilot schools in Guangdong, Sichuan and Guizhou participated in the training. Executive Director Zhao Chen of CDRF Child Development Center and Senior Manager Qu Xiangzhou with Daimler Vocational Training China addressed the ceremony.

The series of online trainings covered German modern vocational education concepts, corporate demand for manpower, teaching methods and technologies of German cars (engine, gearbox, chassis, electric and new technology). The courses were taught by Daimler Vocational Training China. Teachers finishing all the courses will be presented with a training certificate issued by Daimler Vocational Training China.
