In the preliminary round of the contest, 530 sets of works were received and 130,000 people participated in the public vote. After strict evaluation, a total of 33 student works entered the finals. Beijing Society of Photographers member Ping Aiguo, documentary director Cui Shiwei, and Gao Guoqing, director of the General Office of the China Development Research Foundation, served as the final judges. A total of 15 outstanding works were selected, including two gold medals, five silver medals, and seven bronze medals.
In order to facilitate the growth of secondary vocational students, diversify the cultural and physical activities on campus, and increase students' enthusiasm to participate in activities, the CDRF has implemented the For the Future: Vocational Education Program (previously Win the Future). The Online Photography Festival is set up to provide pilot schools with funds and to carry out the events and activities.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, the Foundation will continue to hold a series of online events of the "Campus Cultural Events Carnival" for students of pilot schools.
