China Issue Guides Released

On the afternoon of December 2, 2022, the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) and CDRF co-hosted the “China Philanthropy Conference: Education and  Poverty Alleviation——launch of the China Issue Guides Series”, invited representatives from many philanthropic industries, business, and academia to discuss the donation trend and development status in the field of education and poverty alleviation, for promoting the long-term and effective development of China’s philanthropy.



The conference was attended by Fang Jin, Secretary General of CDRF, Ronnie C. The China Issue Guides is a four-part series analyzing the top issue areas for Chinese philanthropists: health, environment, education, and poverty alleviation. These reports not only discuss the state of play around philanthropy on a given topic but analyze the motivations and trends as well as chart a path forward based on social needs.Following the release of Health Philanthropy and Environmental Philanthropy in February this year, Education and Poverty Alleviation Philanthropy were officially released at this conference, and the report can be downloaded by clicking on the link at the end of the article.
