Chief Commercial Officer at Rio Tinto visits CDRF

On February 27, 2023, Alf Barrios, Chief Commercial Officer and Chairman of Rio Tinto China, and his delegation visited China Development Research Foundation (CDRF). Fang Jin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Development Research Foundation, and Cheng Huiqiang, Deputy Secretary General of China Development Research Foundation, had an in-depth exchange with Rio Tinto Group around the China Development Forum, the construction of "Rural Child Development Demonstration Zone" in Bijie, Guizhou, green development, intangible cultural heritage protection and other issues. 

This year is the 40th anniversary of Rio Tinto's first office in China. Both sides said they will continue to consolidate and deepen existing cooperation. Ren Binyan, CEO of Rio Tinto China, Yuan Ling, Vice President of Rio Tinto China, and relevant personnel from the Foundation's International Liaison Department, Research Department 3 and Child Development Research Institute participated in the exchange.
