Chinese Residents ‘Survey Data of Cancer Screening Services was Officially Transferred
On March 7, 2023, the transfer ceremony of the survey data of cancer screening services for Chinese residents was held in the south office of the China Development Research Foundation (CDRF).
During the transfer ceremony, Yu Jiantuo, Deputy Secretary General, CDRF, accepted the survey data of cancer screening services for Chinese residents delivered by Zhang Xuying, Deputy Director of the China Population and Development Research Center.
Chinese Residents’ Cancer Screening Service Survey is a national survey project that was publicly tendered by CDRF in April 2022, after expert review, the center successfully won the bid in May. The survey is mainly to obtain nationally representative basic data, for example, the knowledge of cancer screening of Chinese residents, the utilization of screening services, and the preference and willingness to pay for future screening services, in order to providing data reference for government departments to make informed decisions. After thorough preparation and trial survey, after the completion of the training in September 2022, the household survey was carried out quickly, and finally concluded in November under the quality control standards of the whole process; Data cleansing, weighting, and survey execution report writing was successively carried out, completed and submitted.
After the data transfer ceremony, Zhang Xuying introduced the implementation of the survey of cancer screening services for Chinese residents. Yu Jiantuo highly affirmed the professional, efficient and high-quality investigation work provided by China Population and Development Research Center, looked forward to the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the field of population and health in the future.
