On March 24, 2023, a seminar on "Research on the development of emerging models of commercial health insurance by New Business Forms and Patterns" organized by China Development Research Foundation was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

Fang Jin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Development Research Foundation (CDRF), delivered a welcome speech. Jin Xiaotao, former vice minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, president of the China Health Information and Health Care Big Data Association, and Huang Hong, former vice chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, delivered keynote speeches. Yu Jiantuo, Deputy Secretary General of CDRF, presided over the meeting and shared the results of the Foundation's work on the research of emerging models of commercial health insurance in the new industry.

Experts from public health, social security and insurance sector discussed the topics related to the emerging models of commercial health insurance by new business forms and patterns.As an important part of China's multi-layered medical insurance system and a powerful link to basic medical insurance, commercial health insurance is of great significance to improve the medical insurance system and comprehensively promote the construction of a healthy China. This conference focuses on the discussion of the emerging models of commercial health insurance in the new industry, aiming to establish a platform for communication and provide policy suggestions and decision-making reference for the high-quality development of commercial health insurance.
