CDRF and China Credit Trust holds Charity Run
On the morning of 17 September 2023, China Development Research Foundation
(CDRF) and China Credit Trust (CCT) held the sixth session of Charity Run in the
Olympic Forest Park in Beijing.
Fang Jin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CDRF, Cheng Huiqiang, Deputy
Party Secretary and Deputy Secretary General of CDRF, and Yu Jiantuo, Deputy
Secretary General of CDRF, joined the staff of CDRF and CCT in the event.
In his opening speech, Fang briefly introduced CDRF’s work in the Rural Child
Development Demonstration Zone in Bijie Pilot Area, and thanked CCT’s long-term
and generous support to CDRF’s programs.
The Charity Run event is jointly initiated by CDRF and CCT. It aims to raise
awareness and to encourage participation and engagement in charitable
activities.
This event marks the sixth year of cooperation between the two sides. CCT
will donate 200,000 yuan to CDRF to support the Rural Child Development
Demonstration Zone in Bijie Pilot Area, bringing their total support to 1.2mil
Yuan. The donation will support 0-3 years old children's early parenting
projects, to help explore effective ways to fundamentally eliminate the
intergenerational transmission of poverty.
