CDRF Holds the Second "Care for Women's Health" Charity Run in Shanghai
On 27 September 2023, the second "Care for Women's Health" was held in
Shanghai Hongqiao Sports Park. With the theme of "Embrace the Pink Ribbon Month,
Care for Her Health," the charity run was organized by China Development
Research Foundation (CDRF), with the participation of Danaher, Reckitt, United
Family Healthcare, Bright Dairy, and other philanthropic organizations.
October is World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as the Pink-Ribbon
Month. This year's charity run continues the previous year's goal of "calling on
women to care for their breast health and raising awareness for women's health,"
and promote "early prevention, early detection, and early treatment" during the
Pink-Ribbon Month.
"Cares for Women's Health" has always adhered to promoting women's health and
development". This year's charity run also combines women's employment and
career development related projects. Thirty women student representatives from
two universities from the "Shanghai Female University Student Career Development
'Seagull Program'" participated in the charity run. In addition, the "Mulan
Program", the female leadership program of Reckitt which focus on women's health
and the high quality employment of women, was shared at the event.
More than 150 participants, as well as their family members, relatives and
friends from CDRF, Danaher, Reckitt and other related partners participated in
this charity run.
