CDRF and Reckitt holds donation ceremony for Family Development Fund

On May 20th, China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) and Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc held a donation ceremony for "Family Development Fund" in Shanghai. Fang Jin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Development Research Foundation, and Huang Yongcheng, General Manager of RB China, attended and signed the donation agreement, and Cheng Huiqiang, Deputy Secretary General of the Foundation, chaired the signing ceremony.

Reckitt will donate RMB 2 million to the China Development Research Foundation Family Development Fund, pledging to support the foundation to carry out policy research, social experiments and communication activities in the field of family development in China in the next three years, with a focus on women's health, women's empowerment and development.

Fang said that Women's development is an important aspect to enhance the level of family development, and also an important guarantee to promote high-quality economic and social development. The Family Development Fund carries out a number of exchange, research and social experiment projects that care for women's health, and empower women's development in China.

Huang Yongcheng, General Manager of Reckitt Benckiser China, said that RB not only attach importance to diversity and inclusiveness within the company and empower female employees, but also actively promotes the community to pay attention to women's rights and interests. More than 50% of the company's philanthropic funds are invested in social impact projects that enhance the rights of women and girls.
