China Development Research Foundation held a seminar on "Green Power Supply and Demand under ‘dual carbon’ goal"

On February 22, 2022, China Development Research Foundation held a symposium on "Green Electricity Supply and Demand under ‘dual carbon’ goal". The conference focused on key issues and policy bottlenecks in China's green power supply and demand under the "dual carbon" goal, inviting companies along the supply chain and research institutions to discuss the current situation of green power, the progress of trade pilot programs, the power market to support clean and low-carbon energy transition and other key hot issues.

 

Shi Jingli, a researcher of Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission, shared the evolution and latest trend of green power policy. Experts and enterprise representatives from Capital Electric Power Exchange center, BMW Brilliance, Beijing Tiancheng Tongchuang Electric and DSM shared the "practice and bottleneck of green power"; Experts from China Southern Power Grid Energy Research Institute, National Development and Reform Commission Energy Research Institute, Tsinghua University, World Resources Institute, Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute and Rocky Mountain Institute analyzed the problems faced in practice from multiple perspectives, and put forward opinions and suggestions for the improvement of the green power market mechanism.
