The Symposium on China Development Report 2015/2016 was held

On the afternoon of June 30, 2016, the Symposium on China Development Report 2015/2016 was held at the building of the CDRF. The theme of the annual report this year is sustainable use of resources.

Those present at the symposium included Liu Minquan, the author of the main report and senior visiting professor at the CDRF, Gao Shiji, director of Institute for Resources and Environment Policy Studies, Development Research Center of the State Council, Dai Tiejun, the author of the background report and professor at Beijing University of Technology, Li Yongfeng, professor at China University of Mining and Technology, Wen Zongguo, director of Tsinghua University Research Center for Circular Economy, Li Jinhui, executive director of the UNEP’s Basel Convention Regional Centre for the Asia and Pacific Region in China, Liang Shumin, researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Cheng Huiqiang, assistant director of Institute for Resources and Environment Policy Studies, Development Research Center of the State Council, Li Enzhong, professor at the Academy of Armored Forces Engineering of PLA, Wei Zhengzheng, senior engineer at the Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy (PRCEE) affiliated to Ministry of Environmental Protection. At the symposium, the experts presented the outline of the background report, discussed the key points of the chapters and new ideas for the report and proposed suggestions for adjustment.
