The Seventh China-US Symposium on Building the Financial System of the 21st Century was held in Nanjing from June 18 to June 20, 2010. Well-known experts, regulators and practitioners from the American and Chinese financial sectors were invited to exchange views on economic and financial situations, innovations and reforms in the two countries and hot issues related to changes in international financial market, to discuss ways to effectively promote the development of the Chinese capital market, and to promote cooperation between the two sides in government regulation, corporate governance, information sharing, academic research and other fields.
