Secretary-General Lu Mai gave a lecturer at the Fourth Workshop for Senior Civil Servants from Australia and New Zealand

On the afternoon of September 20, Lu Mai, secretary-general of the CDRF, gave a lecturer on China's reform and opening up strategy at the Fourth Workshop for Senior Civil Servants from Australia and New Zealand organized in the Chinese Academy of Governance.


The workshop was co-sponsored by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese Academy of Governance, and Australia and New Zealand School of Government.


A total of 23 senior civil servants from Australia and New Zealand participated in the workshop. Mr. Lu Mai introduced China's achievements in economic development, poverty alleviation and human development since it began to implement the reform and opening up strategy. He also pointed out challenges faced by China in inequality, poverty alleviation, environmental protection and its battle against corruption and then introduced the history of China's reform, development concepts during the thirteenth five-year plan period, policy-making mechanism and examples of reform in China, and China's opening up and internationalization strategies. He also answered relevant questions raised by the attendees.
