Yu Jiantuo led a team to Changshu City, Suzhou and Binhai County, Yancheng City for research

From September 25 to 28, 2022, Yu Jiantuo, Deputy secretary-general of CDRF, led a team to Changshu City, Suzhou City, and Binhai County of Yancheng City to carry out the research on "Typical Cases of Rural Social Services Development". Commissioned by the Department of Rural Social Services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the project aims to evaluate and study the development index of rural social services, and summarise and refine the experiences and practices of local governments in promoting the development of rural social services.. Researchers from the Foundation's research group participated in the survey.

On September 26, the research team held discussions with Changshu Municipal Bureau of Finance, Education Bureau, Civil Affairs Bureau, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Health Commission, Urban Management Bureau, Ecological Environment Bureau, Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and other departments, and investigated the improvement of the rural living environment of Zhongjia Lane in Zhilin Village, Dongbang Town, Changshu City, the resource treatment of Dongbang organic waste, and the elderly care services in rural communities of Hebei Village Day Care Center in Zhitang Town.

On September 27, the research team held discussions with the Binhai County Agricultural and Rural Bureau (Rural Revitalization Bureau), Finance Bureau, Civil Affairs Bureau, Education Bureau, Health Commission, Ecological Environment Bureau, Urban Management Bureau, Agricultural Tourism Group and other departments, and conducted field investigations on rural education in Yucai Road Campus of Binhai County Experimental Primary School, the construction of the digital village platform of Luculent Agricultural Science Park, the improvement of rural living environment in Changfa Village, and the community elderly care of Binhai County Home Care Service Center and other conditions.
