Yu Jiantuo led a team to visit Jintang County and Pujiang County in Chengdu

From July 10 to 13, 2022, Yu Jiantuo, the Deputy Secretary General of the China Development Research Foundation (CDRF), led a team to Jintang and Pujiang counties in Chengdu to study "Typical Cases of Rural Social Services Development". It is commissioned by Department of Rural Social Services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, which aims to accomplish the evaluation and research of the development index of rural social services, summarise and refine the experiences and practices of local governments in promoting the development of rural social services.

The research team of the CDRF on Sustainable Plastic Packaging Policy for Carbon Neutrality went to Wuzhou, Guangxi to investigation

From July 5-7, 2022, the research group of "Sustainable Plastic Packaging for Carbon Neutrality Policy Research" of the China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) visited Wuzhou, Guangxi. Cheng Huiqiang, the Deputy Secretary General of the CDRF, led the team. The team member includes the researcher from the Solid Waste Center, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Deputy Secretary General of the Recycled Plastics Branch of China Materials Recycling Association, as well as other experts. Representatives of multinational enterprises such as Nestle and Coca-Cola and members of green development research team of the CDRF also participated.

The team conducted field research on Wuzhou Circular Economy Industrial Park, Wuzhou Recycled Stainless Steel Industrial Park and the laboratory of Wuzhou College and conducted in-depth discussions with relevant departments and enterprises in Wuzhou.

Wuzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, Circular Economy Industrial Park Management Committee, Guangzhou Customs Technology Center National Key Laboratory of Food Contact Materials Testing, Wuzhou Guolong Renewable Resources Development Company, etc., introduced the development trends and industrial policy needs of Wuzhou recycled plastics industry, especially in recycled plastics used in food industry. Wuzhou mayor, deputy mayor, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, first-class inspector, vice president of Wuzhou College and other leaders joined the discussion with the team.
