Investigation into "Development of New Agricultural Business Entities with Financial Support" is Conducted in Henan Province
From April 9 to 12, CDRF headed to Zhengzhou City and Hua County, Anyang City of Henan Province, and conducted a four-day investigation into the development of new agricultural business entities with financial support. This investigation was part of the TCC6 sub-task undertaken by the CDRF for policy optimization concerning research into policies on financial support for new agricultural business entities in Henan Province. The research team was led by Lu Mai, Vice President and Secretary General of the CDRF, and other team members include Du Jing, Director of Research Dept 3, Program Manager Zhu Meili, and postdoctoral researcher Yang Mo.
The research team went to the Finance Department of Henan Province and attended a symposium on the morning of April 10. During the symposium, Pang Xuemeng, Deputy Director of the Finance Department, elaborated on the construction of rural infrastructure in Henan Province, while other from Political Research Office and Government Office of Henan Province, and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences introduced the basis status of infrastructure and new agricultural business entities in Henan Province. On the afternoon of April 10, chaired by Gao Zhanrong, Deputy Director of the Finance Department of Henan Province, relevant persons in charge expounded the support for the development of new agricultural business entities, including those from varied departments such as Henan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Market Supervision Bureau, Henan Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Henan Agricultural Credit Guarantee Co., Ltd.
The research team visited the Finance Bureau of Huaxian County, Anyang City, Henan Province from April 11-12, and inspected the operation status of family farms, agricultural cooperatives, and leading industrialized agricultural enterprises as well as the status of receiving financial support. The research team also interviewed typical representatives of the new agricultural business entities, and garnered a wealth of first-hand information.
