The 1st (2012)
Hosted by China Development Research Foundation, the first multinational Young Leaders Development Program (YLDP) took place from 8th to 14th October 2012. The Program featured one-week training and research tour to Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. With lectures by senior scholars and experts as well as visit to government departments, the program helped to improve the understanding of young leaders from multinational companies about the current social and economic development in China and to promote cooperation between China and the related multinationals.
YLDP is now open to multinationals that have been attending and supporting the “CHINA DEVELOPMENT FORUM”. Participants of this year’s program included 19 senior managers coming from 11 countries sent by 18 multinational companies. The participants involve with a variety of industries such as banking, energy, transportation, electronics, insurance and real estate. Marco Zehe, Vice President of Sales from Bosch (China), was elected as team leader of the participants while network of alumni has been set up and future reunion in China is expected.
