Fang Jin Visits the National Center for Mental Health, China
On 23 January 2024, Fang Jin, vice chairman and secretary general of China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) led a delegation to visit the National Center for Mental Health, China (hereinafter referred to as "NCMHC") to carry out work-related discussion. Cai Jianhua, senior advisor of Child Development Research Institute of CDRF, Du Zhixin, deputy director of Child Development Research Institute of CDRF, Shi Lijia, assistant director of Child Development Research Institute of CDRF, and other staff from Research Department II and Child Development Research Institute participated in the discussion.
The delegation met with Yao Hongwen, director of NCMHC, Huang Changqun, deputy director of NCMHC, Jiang Wen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of NCMHC, Wang Gang, deputy director of NCMHC, and relevant department heads.
Fang said that CDRF has in recent years increasingly engaged in mental health policy research and social experiments, and hoped that the two sides could continue to innovate in conducting policy research, pilot projects and advocacy programs, and carry out further cooperation.
Yao welcomed the CDRF delegation and hoped that in the future, the combined advantages of CDRF's comprehensiveness in policy research and NCMHC's focused expertise in mental health could promote the refinement of related policies.
Heads of relevant department of both sides conducted in-depth discussion on policy research, project operations and international exchanges in the field of mental health, and actively aligned direction of future cooperation.
