The 9th (2014)
According to the plan of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the 9th China Executive Leadership Program sponsored by the Development Research Center of the State Council was offered from July 2, 2014 to July 25, 2014. The CDRF was responsible for the coordination of the program.
This program focused on how to enhance the international competitiveness of companies. A total of 21 participants were selected by the Organization Department. All of them were senior executives from large SOEs in aerospace, equipment manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, finance and other industries. Wang Tianpu, General Manager of Sinopec Group, served as the head of the class. Zhang Yongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of the CDRF, served as the secretary-general of the class.
The three-week program took place in Beijing and Cambridge University (UK). In addition to exchanging opinions with executives of leading international corporations and renowned scholars on internationalization, they also interacted with UK government officials and representatives of the UK financial sector.
The feedback received from participants showed that the participants really benefited from the opportunity to discuss global environment, leadership, talent development, innovation, risk control, corporate social responsibility and other issues and they gained a better understanding of how to expand globally and how to enhance the international competitiveness of their business through the program.
