The Secondary Vocational Education for Future Program was launched
Under the support of the Ministry of Education, the CDRF, in cooperation with relevant ministries, enterprises, international organizations, academic institutions and other partners, launched the Secondary Vocational Education for Future Program. The program included training programs targeting principals of secondary vocational schools, lectures given by senior technicians, promotion of positive school culture, scholarships and entrepreneur training programs and other experimental fieldwork. It will offer pilot programs to introduce the international advanced knowledge and technology in vocational education, advocate positive school culture, strengthen the soft power of secondary vocational schools and improve self-esteem and self-confidence of students. Meanwhile, the process and results of such experiments will be monitored and evaluated in an attempt to improve the quality of secondary vocational education, to develop the skills of graduates from these schools, to cultivate a healthy outlook on life among students of these schools, to change the attitude of the public towards them and to help graduates obtain a steady job in cities.
On June 27-July 2, 2016, the Secondary Vocational Education for Future Program was officially launched and the first training program for principals of secondary vocational schools was offered. A total of 40 principals from 31 schools in five cities in Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou and other regions participated in the training. Representatives of JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, Schneider, Bosch and other partners of the program attended the launching ceremony.
