The 2023 For the Future Student Training Camp was held in Beijing

From May 22nd to 27th, 2023, China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) held a week-long student training camp, in which 48 students and teachers from 8 secondary vocational schools in Bijie, Guizhou Province participated.

The student training camp is based on the theme of the Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Week 2023, "Skills make Better Lives", and aims to showcase vocational school students and call for awareness. Students and teachers to visit leading companies in Beijing such as China Aviations Technology (manufacturing), iFLYTEK (artificial intelligence) and Perfect World (entertainment and tourism), to help vocational school students broaden their horizons and gain insight, and lay the foundation for their future career choices and development.

The whole course adopts a combination of experience and inquiry, and through a cooperative learning mode, students will have a deep interactions of ideas in culture, technology and other fields, and strengthen their skills in observation, critical thinking, communication and expression and foster a spirit of curiosity.

In this event, the Foundation cooperated with the Positive Psychology Center of Tsinghua University to bring a wonderful group counseling session and positive psychology lecture to the students.
