Rural Primary School Innovation Project
About the Program
The Rural Primary School Innovation Project was jointly launched by the China Development Research Foundation(CDRF) and Tianzige, a Shanghai-based non-profit organization focused on urban-rural educational inequity in China. It was officially initiated in August 2020. It aims to enable rural children to have access to tailor-made quality education in their hometowns. Based on the national education syllabus, the program integrates rural resources and makes innovations in curricula to empower rural teachers and invigorate class interaction in rural elementary schools.
