CDRF Releases ＂China Development Report 2011/12＂

 On October 26th, 2012, CDRF released "China Development Report 2011/12: Changes of Demographic Conditions and Resulting Policy Adjustment".

Based on the 6th National Census, the report records the most updated integrated research results of the changes of China’s demographic conditions and the adjustment of demographic policies. Pooling the efforts of more than 10 renowned Chinese and foreign experts, as well as large amounts of results from field investigations, this report takes two years to complete. It gives a detailed analysis of changing demographic conditions in China, discusses in depth the socioeconomic impacts of such changes and suggests specific roadmap for China to gradually adjust its demographic policies. It submits specific policy recommendations to deepen reforms on education, health, employment, pension, urbanization, women and children development, and family capacity building.
