To solve the problem of mal-nutrition among boarding school students in poor families, CDRF carried out an experiment of boarding school student nutrition improvement in Guangxi and Hebei. Based on the good result achieved, CDRF submitted the report on policy recommendation, which was highly regarded by Premier Wen Jiabao and other top leaders. China has increased living subsidies for boarding school students in poor areas. The nutrition status of children is expected to be substantially improved.
