CDRF holds a WENJIN Roundtable
On 6th February, 2014, CDRF held the Wenjin Roundtable on “Financial Support and Revenue Assurance of Chinese Enterprises’ ‘Going-overseas’” jointly with Gov.cn. Lu Mai, Secretary General of CDRF, chaired the symposium.
With the development of China’s economy and the changes in the development mode, Chinese enterprises and capital are “going overseas”. The government and Premier Li Keqiang attach huge importance and give great support to Chinese enterprises for their overseas activities. On 28th January, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang presided over the meeting of the State Council, laying out further plans for Chinese equipment to go overseas and for international collaborations in production capacity.
Given the above, CDRF invited officials from central ministries and commissions, senior corporate executives and renowned scholars to discuss at one of the WENJIN Roundtables, “Financial Support and Revenue Assurance for Chinese Enterprises Going Overseas”, emphasizing China’s key overseas investment and projects in railway and nuclear energy. The discussion presented objective analyses and assessments of the impact of overseas Chinese projects and investment on China’s development and corporates themselves while providing candid advices for corporates’ development and government decision-making.
WENJIN Roundtables, initiated by Gov.cn, is a platform for exchange between the government, corporates, academia and the public. This is the first WENJIN Roundtable co-sponsored by CDRF and Gov.cn.
